If you grant permission, QuipCard may access your location (including background access) to:
- Alert you when you are near a vendor associated with your gift cards
Your location data is used solely on your device unless explicitly required for location-triggered features. It is not stored on our servers unless part of a user-reported event or support case.

Camera and Media Access
QuipCard may request access to your camera and photo library in order to:
- Scan gift cards
- Upload screenshots containing gift cards
This access is used only for the purpose of adding cards and is never used for facial recognition, biometric scanning, or any other unrelated purpose.

Gift Card Data
- Gift card details are stored locally or securely in the cloud, depending on your device and backup settings.
- QuipCard does not verify card validity, and we are not responsible for lost, expired, invalid, or misused cards.

Third-Party Services
We may use trusted third-party tools (e.g., Firebase, analytics providers, image processing APIs) to help deliver and improve services. These services:
- May temporarily process your data
- Are bound by confidentiality and data protection agreements
- May operate in countries outside your own
