Welcome to QuipCard. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the QuipCard mobile application and services (“the App”). By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

By downloading, accessing, or using QuipCard, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are legally permitted to use the App in your country.

About QuipCard
QuipCard is a tool that allows users to:
- Digitally store gift cards.
- Add gift cards manually, via camera scanning, or by uploading screenshots.
- Track estimated card balances manually.
- Receive location-based notifications when near known vendor locations.
- Share stored gift card information with others.
- View nearby vendors that may accept certain gift cards.

User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring the information you enter into QuipCard is accurate.
- Maintaining possession of your physical and/or digital gift cards.
- Tracking actual balances with official retailers.
- Complying with your local laws, including those governing digital data, consumer protection, and gift card use.
- Using QuipCard in a lawful and appropriate manner.
Note: QuipCard is not a financial service provider, bank, gift card issuer, or retailer.

Gift Card Validity and Use
- QuipCard does not validate, guarantee, or ensure the balance or usability of any gift card stored in the App.
- QuipCard is not responsible for lost, stolen, expired, misused, or rejected gift cards.
- You are responsible for verifying your card’s usability with the issuing retailer before making purchases.

Card Addition & Storage
- You can add cards by manually entering information, using your camera, or uploading screenshots.
- By uploading images or data, you confirm that you have the legal right to store and use that card.
- QuipCard may use machine learning or image processing tools, possibly through third-party providers, to recognize and categorize gift cards.
6.
Balance Tracking
- Balance tracking is an estimation tool and does not reflect real-time or guaranteed values.
- QuipCard does not connect with retailer databases and does not update balances automatically.
- Users must verify balances with the actual retailer.
7.
Location Services
- The App may access your device’s location (with your permission) to notify you when you’re near vendors matching your saved gift cards.
- QuipCard does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or presence of vendors at those locations.
- You can disable location access at any time via device settings.
8.
Vendor Listings
- Vendor locations shown in the App are estimates based on public or user-contributed data.
- QuipCard does not represent, endorse, or have partnerships with any vendors unless explicitly stated.
- We are not liable if a vendor does not accept a card you have stored in the App.
9.
Sharing Features
- Users may choose to share card details via the App.
- Sharing is entirely at your own risk.
- QuipCard is not responsible for any loss or misuse resulting from the sharing of card information.
10.
Account and Device Security
- You are responsible for safeguarding your device, QuipCard access, and account credentials.
- QuipCard is not responsible for any unauthorized access or data loss due to device or account compromise.
11.
Availability and Updates
- QuipCard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- Features may change or be removed at any time.
- We are not responsible for service outages, errors, or feature failures.

Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuipCard and its creators are not liable for:
- Any loss of gift card value.
- Missed notifications or vendor mismatches.
- Inaccurate card data or location services.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Use of QuipCard is entirely at your own risk.
13.
Compliance with Local Laws
You are responsible for complying with all local laws and regulations related to gift card storage, privacy, data sharing, and mobile app use in your country.
14.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to QuipCard at any time, for any reason, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time.
15.
Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of QuipCard after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
16.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by principles of international contract law and will be interpreted in a fair and neutral manner, without regard to specific national laws.
In the event of a dispute, parties agree to resolve the issue amicably, and if not resolved, through arbitration in a mutually agreed jurisdiction.
